Refund Policy

Template notice: this page is a standard refund-policy draft, not legal advice. Consumer-protection and distance-selling rules (including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal referenced below) vary by country — have this reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it commercially.

1. What you're buying

Vacario sells AI credits, either as a one-time pack or bundled monthly with a Pro subscription. Credits are consumed only when an AI action (analysis, optimization, cover letter, etc.) completes successfully — a failed AI request never charges a credit. All payments are processed by Stripe.

2. Right to a refund

If you're not satisfied with a purchase, contact us at asim.aliew1967@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge. We review refund requests case by case, and will generally approve one if:

  • You were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate purchase).
  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from using the credits you purchased.
  • You purchased a pack and haven't used any of the credits yet.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases of digital content. Because Vacario credits can be used immediately after purchase, we ask you to explicitly acknowledge at checkout that you agree to immediate access and that this may affect your withdrawal right for credits you have already spent — this does not remove your right to a refund for genuinely unused credits or defective service under points above.

3. How refunds affect your credit balance

When a purchase is refunded (by us, or via a card dispute/chargeback through your bank), we deduct the credits that purchase granted from your account balance, up to whatever amount remains — your balance is never reduced below zero because of a refund, but any credits you had not yet spent from that purchase are removed. Credits already spent on completed AI actions before the refund are not clawed back separately; the refund is limited to what's actually reversed through Stripe.

4. Subscriptions

The Pro monthly subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by contacting us at asim.aliew1967@gmail.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access (and any remaining credits) until then. We do not prorate partial-month refunds for mid-cycle cancellation, except where required by law or in cases covered by Section 2.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at asim.aliew1967@gmail.com — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated, in line with our Terms of Service.

6. How to request a refund

Email asim.aliew1967@gmail.com with the email address on your account and the date of the charge. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
